EcoReport

EcoReport provides information on eco-friendly practices, environmental impact of various activities, relevant news of the environment, and more. EcoReport encourages dialogue among listeners and provokes people to exercise their power to shape the world in which we live.
Some issues covered under this grant include researching and reporting on local “quality” water supply that had been called into question recently; medicinal aspects of tea and the negative impacts of pesticides; the Indiana Department of Natural Resource (Forestry Division) five-year plan for the proposed cutting of an additional several million more board feet of timber each year, and the impact on the state; the role of the Queen in the life cycle of bees, their honey production, and colony collapse disorder; among other items of environmental concern.
